We have invited students from area schools to visit all of the vendors representing a variety of post secondary schools, trade schools and the armed forces. The Arkansas Department of Education: Division of Career and Technical Education is pleased to announce a second round of recipients of the Modernization Grant initiative aimed at enhancing established Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways across Arkansas. This grant is designed to support pathways already in place that align with high-demand and high-wage (H2) occupations, ensuring our students are well-prepared for the evolving job market. This grant allows modernizing minimum equipment to meet the latest technology demands and opportunities within the established H2 pathways. WHS received $12,495,00 for Agricultural Power, Structural, and Technical Systems updates. Congratulations! #brightfuture #CTE

Staff Sergeant Randy Raper taught a lesson to WES sixth grade students about the flag. He spoke about its meaning, how to handle, display and fold the flag. It is the responsibility of our students to display and care for the flag at the elementary school. Thank you Staff Sergeant for your service and for the lesson.
