I’m excited to be joining the Daredevil Community this year and look forward to getting started. I’m a proud parent of four amazing kids who are just as excited as I am to become Daredevils. As a family, we’re really looking forward to being part of this community and all that it has to offer. When I’m not at work, you can usually find me around horses or at a rodeo. It’s something I truly enjoy and a big part of who I am. That lifestyle has taught me a lot about hard work, grit, and staying committed, values I carry with me every day. Welcome to Wonderview, Andrea Gomez! Mrs. Gomez will be teaching high school math and we excited to have her join our community. Her introduction: "Hi, my name is Andrea Gomez and I am excited to join the Wonderview School District for the 26/27 school year! I will be entering my 4th year as an educator and have a love for teaching math and seeing the gears click into place when my students "get it". I am married and a mother to four beautifully talented daughters who I've had the joy of staying home to raise for most of my adult life before pursuing a career in education. Welcome Home, Coach Byers! WSD is thrilled to announce that former Daredevil and State MVP, Josh "Flash" Byers is returning to Wonderview as the 7 - 12 Girls Basketball Coach. Coach Byers introduction of himself, " I am grateful to be given the opportunity to become the next Head Girls Basketball Coach and teacher here at Wonderview. As a Wonderview graduate, I am super thankful to come back to a place that helped shape who I am today. The administrators, coaches, teachers, and the community poured so much into me growing up, I am excited for the opportunity to return the same investment back.
I am eager to begin this new chapter in my life to build meaningful relationships with students by helping them grow on the court, in the classroom, and in life. This new chapter is even more special because I get to share it with my wife Alex, and our daughter Adalynn. We are grateful for this opportunity.
