WSD will be open Monday, Jan. 13 for PreK - 12! We will be running modified bus routes and information will be shared in a separate post. If students are absent due to transportation issues, they will be excused. If you are concerned about your child's safety, then please call the offices tomorrow to report any absences. After careful consideration and erring on the side of caution, WSD will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, Jan. 9. Due to the winter storm warning and forecasted precipitation during the day tomorrow, we will not have school. The safety of our students and staff is always our highest priority. 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞: Per the Arkansas LEARNS Act, AMI (Alternative Methods of Instruction) days cannot count toward the required instruction days. Any closures must be made up with onsite instruction on the inclement weather days built into the calendar if necessary to meet the required hours/minutes of instruction.
