Good afternoon, Daredevil Family - Due to the latest forecast, WSD will err on the side of caution and cancel school for Tuesday, February 18. As always, the safety of our students, staff, and families is our top priority, and with the potential for hazardous winter weather and no definite timeline, we think this is best. WHS's Jr. High Quiz Bowl Team has qualified to compete at state! They finished fourth at the regional tournament on Saturday and will compete on Feb. 15 in the state tournament. WSD will be open Monday, Jan. 13 for PreK - 12! We will be running modified bus routes and information will be shared in a separate post. If students are absent due to transportation issues, they will be excused. If you are concerned about your child's safety, then please call the offices tomorrow to report any absences. Due to the winter storm warning and forecasted precipitation during the day tomorrow, we will not have school. The safety of our students and staff is always our highest priority. Any closures must be made up with onsite instruction on the inclement weather days built into the calendar if necessary to meet the required hours/minutes of instruction.
